EISCD Updates

To update your EISCD (Extended Industry Sort Code Directory) please follow the instructions below. N.B:Only users with Administrator privileges will be able to perform this task.

The EISCD is compatible with Bacsactive-IP Version 2.3.0 and upwards only. For versions below 2.3.0 please download the ISCD available here.

***Hosted Customers - Please note that customers using the Accountis Managed Service, i.e. Bacsactive-IP Online or Bacsactive-IP Service, are NOT required to perform these updates. If in doubt please contact Fundtech Support at support.fsc@fundtech.com or call 0845 644 0640.

Download EISCD File

1. Click the link above to download the latest compressed EISCD archive.
2. Save the file to the desktop of the machine you wish to perform the upload from. Please note this machine MUST have a copy of Bacsactive-IP Client installed.
3. Double click the file on your desktop this will launch a program to extract the EISCD data file from the compressed archive.
4. Select the 'Unzip' option and wait for the operation to complete.
5. Select the 'Close' option.
6. Make sure that no one is logged into BACSactive-IP then log in as 'manager' or any other administrative user.
7. Click on the 'Settings' tab and then click on 'Maintenance'.
8. You will see a section entitled 'Update Sort Code Database'. Click the browse button and select the extracted EISCD file.
9. Click Upload.
10. When the upload completes you will be informed by a message saying 'EISCD Data Uploaded Successfully'. Your users may now resume using the system.
