Changes to Direct Debit Guarantee Wording
With effect from 1 July 2009 the two previous forms of Direct Debit Guarantee wording have been replaced.
Whilst it is considered best practice for all service users to adopt the new Guarantee immediately, service users set up to use Direct Debit prior to this date may continue to use either of the two previous Guarantees until 31 December 2010; service users set up after 1 July 2009 must use the new wording.
With effect from 1 January 2011 ALL service users must use the new Direct Debit Guarantee.
